Prevention & Wellness
The Prevention & Wellness department supports the academic success, health, and well-being of children and families by removing barriers to learning and strengthening systems of care. Through foster and homeless education services, prevention and early support programs, mental and behavioral health services, family resources, and strong community partnerships, our team works within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to meet students where they are. Guided by a whole child approach, we collaborate with schools, local agencies, and community organizations to connect families to school-linked supports, strengthen relationships, and promote stability, well-being, and belonging. Together, we work proactively to ensure every student and family feels supported, valued, and equipped to thrive.
