Head Start Primary Care
YCOE’s Early Head Start programs are designed for the individual needs of infants and toddlers. Early Head Start programs focus on the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants and toddlers through developmentally appropriate caregiving. This focus helps to prepare our infants and toddlers for ongoing growth and development which will help lead to success in school and life.

Our Early Head Start programs not only support the child but also support parents, both mothers, and fathers, in their role as primary caregivers and the first teachers of their children. We help assist families in meeting their own personal goals and working toward self-sufficiency with such things as housing stability, continued education, and financial security. YCOE’s Early Head Start program also works with the local community to provide the resources necessary to ensure comprehensive services and support for children and families.
