Excellence in Education Awards 2023
Save the Date! The 2023 Excellence in Education Awards will be held on Monday, September 25th at 5 p.m. Hosted by the Yolo County School Boards Association, the in-person event will be held at the YCOE Conference Center (located at 1280 Santa Anita Ct., Suite 100, Woodland).
The annual award ceremony seeks to recognize programs and leadership excellence from the five school districts across Yolo County, plus individuals and programs from the Yolo County Office of Education and the Los Rios and Yuba Community College districts. The awards ceremony features recognition of the 2023-2024 Yolo County Teacher of the Year.

Excellence in Education Awards 2022
The 2022 Excellence in Education Awards was held on Monday, September 26th at 5 p.m. The in-person event hosted by the Yolo County School Boards Association was held at the YCOE Conference Center (located at 1280 Santa Anita Ct., Suite 100, Woodland).
In all, nearly 60 awards and certificates were handed out to local educators. The annual award ceremony seeks to recognize programs and leadership excellence from the five school districts across Yolo County, plus individuals and programs from the Yolo County Office of Education and the Los Rios and Yuba Community College districts.
The awards ceremony featured recognition of the 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year for Yolo County. Congratulations to Erica Chung, a teacher at Woodland High School! She was announced as the 2022-2023 Yolo County Teacher of the Year. She will represent the county in the statewide Teacher of the Year program through the California Department of Education.
