Community Advisory Committee Meetings
The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is an organization of parents, educators and community members. The CAC provides special education in-service trainings for parents; provides community awareness projects; actively supports special education legislation; facilitates communication among parents, schools and community; and develops special education literature. ANYONE can attend a CAC meeting; they are open to the public.
CAC meetings can help you:
- Access community resources.
- Meet other parents in your community that have children with special needs.
- Inform you of your student's Procedural Safeguards (rights).
