Region 3 Launches STEM Service Learning Initiative
Over 50 participants including secondary teachers, higher education faculty and students and community partners attended the first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Service Learning Summer Institute at CSUS this August. Region 3 is piloting a program to support STEM Services Learning Project Teams are partnerships among secondary teachers and students, higher education faculty and students, community non-profits or government agencies and industry.
