The Davis Joint Unified Board of Education took action to deny the Valley Oak Charter School (VOCS) petition.

The Valley Oak Charter School petition appeal was received at the Yolo County Office of Education. The appeal includes the original and revised VOCS petitions.
February 21, 2008
At this regularly scheduled meeting of the Yolo County Board of Education, the Yolo County Board selected Thursday, March 6th, 2008 as the date for a public hearing to receive comment regarding the VOCS petition appeals. The public hearing will be held at the Yolo County Office of Education Conference Center, 1280 Santa Anita Court, Suite 120, Woodland, CA. The hearing will begin at 4:45 p.m.

According to California Educational Code, the Board decision must be made no later than April 4th, 2008.
PUBLIC COMMENT
The Yolo County Office of Education has established a number of different ways the public can provide comment on the Valley Oak Charter School appeal. All messages received will be transcribed for review by the Yolo County Board and taken into consideration as part of the appeal review process.
