Yolo County Office of Education provides a number of programs and services to support youth development in the county.
| Mentoring |
Yolo County Office of Education was awarded a mentoring grant from the United States Department of Education in October 2004. "You Make A Difference (YMAD)" provides mentoring for students in grades 6-10 in Davis Joint Unified School Districts, Esparto Unified School District, and Washington Unified School District.

Training is available to introduce 7-9 graders to the world of college, career, and lifestyle choices. It is a ten-part series that can be delivered in the classroom or a pull out program. It incorporates activities from The Real Game Series and Pathways to the World of Careers curriculum, portfolio development, ideas for field trips and speakers.
