The Maintenance and Operations program provides building, custodial and grounds maintenance to YCOE programs that have maintenance and operation allocation funds. The program coordinates all facility development and construction projects and work, develops risk management programs, safety training, environmental management programs, asbestos and lead management planning and inspection, facility inspections, and deferred maintenance projects. This program also coordinates and handles real estate management projects, local, state and federal statistical reports, safety training and energy management.

The Yolo County Office of Education Conference Center provides space for both internal and external clients. It provides easy and accessible meeting space, with hookups for internet, and downlinking broadcast capabilities along with a full line of audio/video equipment.

The Yolo County Office of Education invites proposals from qualified California licensed firms for a power distribution reconfiguration at the Head Start Lincoln Center.  This is a public works project; thus bidders must comply with prevailing wage, bonding requirements, and general conditions.  A mandatory job walk will take place at 10:00 a.m. on November 13, 2008, at the Head Start Lincoln Center, 726 Lincoln Ave., Woodland, CA  95695.  All bids must be received by 3:00 p.m. on December 1, 2008, to be considered responsive.
