The mission of the Yolo County Office
of Education is to meet current and
future needs of Yolo County by serving
as a regional resource to students,
parents, school districts, agencies,
and businesses through collaborative
leadership, support and services.

Services Division |
The Centralized Administrative Services
program provides for the administration,
coordination and development of support
programs and centralized services relative
to all non-instructional support provided
to Yolo County school districts, YCOE
programs, Yolo County communities, California
Department of Education, Capitol Service
Region, California County Superintendents
Educational Services Association, and
other county offices of education and
school districts within California.
These services include centralizing
certain costs in order to maximize resources
within the office. The budget contains
the centralized costs for legal services,
insurance services, and other fiscal
and legal services provided to the Yolo
County Office of Education.

| Child
Care Planning Council |
The Yolo County Local Child Care
Planning Council was established in
January, 1998 in compliance with State
of California legislation AB 1542 (
Education Code Sections 8499.3 and 8499.5)
to plan and implement child care for
participants of the CalWORKs program
and to address the child care needs
of all families in Yolo County.
