Stuart (Stu) Greenfeld has enjoyed an extensive career in Public Education. The California State Legislature has recognized him on five different occasions for his contributions in special education, educational psychology, school district fiscal management, and school district reorganization. Stu has served as a teacher, school psychologist, district administrator and superintendent in several California school districts and in two county offices of education. As an Assistant Superintendent of Public Instruction in the California Department of Education, Stu directed the Offices of Secondary and Middle Grades Education, School and District Accountability, School to Career, Intersegmental Relations, professional development, and the Office of Financial Management Standards and Practices. He also served as the State Director of Vocational/Technical Education. He has a broad interest in all the programs and services of the Yolo County Office of Education. Stu is a veteran and has been active in local and state veteran organizations. He and his wife have lived in West Sacramento for over 25 years. He served on the Yolo County Grand Jury (2004-2005) and was elected to the Yolo County Board of Education in November 2007. Stu was elected President of the Yolo County School Boards Association in February 2008.
