Our Mission Statement
It is our mission to meet current and future needs of Yolo County by serving as a regional resource to students, parents, school districts, agencies, and businesses through collaborative leadership, support and services.

The Yolo County Office of Education
provides a wide range of services to the children, parents and school districts of Yolo County from operating schools for severely disabled children to providing payroll, computing, and budgetary oversight services to K-12 school districts.

Program Spotlight

 

Law Enforcement Summer AcademyBadge.jpg

Yolo County Office of Education (ROP) in partnership with Woodland Community College is coordinating their third Law Enforcement Summer Camp Academy. The camp will begin on June 10th and end on July 18th. Students will attend Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 2:40 PM. The summer camp is specifically geared towards students who may be interested in law enforcement and criminal justice. Students who graduate from the camp will receive 9 units of community college credit in Nutrition and Life Fitness, the Criminal Justice Legal Process, and Ethics. The camp is designed to prepare students for the Peace Officer Standards and Training Academy and will challenge students in physical agility. There is no cost associated with the camp and it is open to all students ages 16 and older including recent graduates of high school.
